Jack hopes Eddie will be chill about this.

Eddie’s chill most time. If Eddie walks into a room and finds him balls deep in someone else’s ass, he’d thumb up and walk backward to leave. If he has a good night of fooling around and is too wasted to show up on the deck the next morning, Eddie would cover his ass and blackmail later. What else can you ask from a fuck-pal?

Eddie’s not his fucking boyfriend. Jack can give it good to Eddie on Wednesday afternoon and wingman him on Thursday night, in a dirty tavern for a blond wuss, then on Friday they might get ass flogged for tardiness side by side. It’s a healthy mechanism they have established, and it works, so Jack decides to keep it like this.

But he knows how it is when Eddie is all worked up, going nuts and throwing knives. It’s kind of tiresome to watch out for his own steps every time he wants to try out new things. He has to ask for Eddie’s PROVE. Yeah, kind of shitty.
